CILICIA. Soloi. Circa 100-30 BC. AE (Bronze, 20 mm, 5.69 g, 1 h). Diademed and draped bust of Artemis to right, with bow and quiver over her left shoulder. Rev. ΣΟΛΕΩN Athena advancing right, wielding thunderbolt in her right hand and holding shield in her left. SNG Levante 859. SNG Paris 1189 var. (with additional monograms on the reverse). A clear, very sharp, and very attractive piece with a beautiful green patina. Extremely fine.
